The IIB offers a progressive and dynamic opportunity for business professionals to develop their consultancy practices, within an international environment that is supported by a global network.
The IIB has a network of over 5,000 Associates across 40 plus countries, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, USA, Canada, Israel, South Africa, Australia and India.
In order to carry the IIB logo, ssociates must pass through the Institute’s selection procedure, and then successfully complete the IIB Consultancy Business Development Programme™ (CBDP).
The CBDP includes training at the Residential Business School and provides executives with a framework and methodology to provide their own "practical advice that works"™ particularly to independent, small to medium sized businesses. The CBDP, which first started in 1991, has seen thousands of executives graduate to become accredited Associates who are exclusively qualified to provide the unique IIB Business Support Programme™ to their clients, and to show their personal accreditation status and IIB logo on their business stationery.
Training, national and international conferences, workshops, Regional Group meetings, seminars, webinars, and newsletters provide ongoing support to keep those who graduate up to date as business generalists. The Partners’ and Associates’ extranet allows access to an invaluable global network of expertise, advice and information for all accredited Associates to tap into as and when their clients need specialist support.
The IIB accepts applications throughout the year from prospective Associates internationally wishing to join the next IIB Residential Business School
