Accredited Associate Information and Client Services
The IIB is an educational and accreditation organisation and does not provide consultancy and advisory services to independent businesses. The IIB helps to facilitate the international network of accredited Associates to collaborate (by Associates for Associates) and FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT:
- Graduates who are selected trained & accredited by the IIB (herein referred to as “accredited Associates”) operate, inter alia, as business advisors, executive coaches or specialist consultants directly with their own clients independent of and unconnected with the IIB whether as individuals (through their own service companies or businesses) or in collaboration with other accredited Associates;
- Any Information provided by any accredited Associate(s) (hereinafter “Associate Information”) is independent of and unconnected with the IIB;
- Any Associate Information which refers, inter alia, to any accredited Associate or his/her trading entity, service, methodology, product, solution, ideas, views or opinions is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind (either expressed or implied) and FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT the Institute shall not under any circumstances be liable for any Information or any Associate Information.
No Endorsement
Descriptions or any reference in Information or Associate Information shall not imply any endorsement by the IIB.
Professional Standards and Conduct
All accredited Associates are required to carry out their professional duties responsibly and with integrity and in compliance with the Institute's standards of professional conduct and are required to sign and agree to abide by the Institute's Code of Ethics.
Complaints
Complaints are investigated under the IIB Professional Conduct Committee (“PCC”) disciplinary procedures. Whilst hearing a complaint, should a PCC panel (comprising peers i.e. accredited Associates) determine that an accredited Associate has failed to comply with the Code of Ethics, such is reported to the Institute and can lead to disciplinary action or even removal of accreditation.
Accredited Associates making complaints should do so using the procedures set out in the Associates’ website. Members of the public making a complaint to the IIB should contact the Institute’s Head Office.
